A New Era For Toyotas Full Size Pickup

Toyota's Tundra Turns its Back on V-8 Power

A New Era for Toyota's Full-Size Pickup

The popular Toyota Tundra is getting a major overhaul for 2024, and one of the biggest changes is the discontinuation of the V-8 engine.

That's right, the 2024 Tundra will be the first Tundra in history to not offer a V-8 engine. Instead, it will come standard with a twin-turbocharged V-6 engine that produces 389 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque.

This is a significant change for the Tundra, which has always been known for its powerful V-8 engines. However, Toyota says that the new V-6 is more powerful and efficient than the old V-8, and it also meets the increasingly stringent emissions regulations.

The 2024 Tundra is also getting a number of other updates, including a new design, a new interior, and a new infotainment system. It will also be available with a variety of new features, such as a panoramic sunroof, a heads-up display, and a surround-view camera system.

The 2024 Tundra is expected to go on sale later this year. Pricing has not yet been announced, but it is expected to be similar to the current Tundra, which starts at around $35,000.
