FC Bayern Munich secured a crucial 2-1 victory over Galatasaray in the UEFA Champions League Group A match on Tuesday. Bayern took the lead early through Kingsley Coman, but Galatasaray fought back to equalize with a goal from Mauro Icardi before halftime.
In the second half, Harry Kane and Jamal Musiala scored for Bayern Munich to seal all three points. The win consolidates Bayern's lead in the group, while Galatasaray's hopes of qualification become increasingly slim.
Bayern Munich started the match brightly and took the lead in the 10th minute. Coman received the ball in the left channel and cut inside, before unleashing a powerful shot into the bottom corner.
Galatasaray responded well and created several chances of their own. They were rewarded for their efforts in the 35th minute when Icardi headed in Kerem Aktürkoğlu's cross from close range.
The second half was a more even affair, with both teams having chances to score. Bayern Munich eventually regained the lead in the 65th minute when Kane headed in Joshua Kimmich's cross.
Musiala added a third goal for Bayern Munich in the 84th minute after a driving run into the Galatasaray penalty area. Galatasaray had a chance to reduce the deficit in the dying seconds, but Muhammed Kerem could not direct his header on target.
With this win, Bayern Munich move to 10 points in Group A, while Galatasaray remain bottom with one point. Bayern Munich will now face Paris Saint-Germain in their final group match, while Galatasaray will host Club Brugge.
